Just a quick one…it’d be great if people could tell me the clearance to the side and top of the tyre for the following unis. The important bit is the side clearnance but I’d like to know both if possible. Here are the ones I’m after:

Andrew, I have a 26" Yuni Muni with a 24x3 Gazz on it. The clearance on top of the tire is 1 1/4" and 1/4" on each side of the tire. You will have to convert the measurements as I didn’t have a tape measure with mm on it.
KH24 pro has 6MM on the sides and about 35 on top with an Arrow 24x2.75 prime bite. Still waiting for a Nokian 3.0. Also have a 26" Yuni with an Intense 26x2.7 (notorious for grabbing and holding rocks), there are marks on both sides of the frame because of that. Have it disassembled so measurement is not possible, most likely will be replaced with a 26" Hunter in the near future.

Yuni is the same as Nimbus isn’t it. I’ve got a Nimbus II. Look up the
clearances at <www.xs4all.nl/~klaasbil/nimbusii_clearance.jpg>. Both
the tyre and the frame are nominally 24".
