somebody, encourage me to do a jump mount!

please, I really want to do one but i’m to scared to actually jump.:frowning:

Feel the fear and do it anyway.

Susan (somebody)

Do the jump mount.

You can do it. Get psyched man, get psyched!

Wait, no don’t do it, you might hurt yourself!

(Reverse psychology - although there is no such thing)

If that’s not encouragement, I don’t know what is. Just disregard the reference to me calling it the “Soprano Mount”.

the hardest part is trying it. jump mounts aren’t that bad, even a suicide mount isn’t as scary as everyone thinks it is. getting up the courage to actaully try is harder than actually doing the mount.

if that didn’t help, “DO IT OR I’LL COME TO YOUR HOUSE AND PUNCH YOU IN THE THROAT!”

//edit: just noticed you live in illinois. that’s not so far from iowa. haha, my threat has some bite.

I cant give you any help, I can only say I hesitated for days before I had the guts to try it…

And when i tried it, I landed it instantly, SUCH I KICK! That was like the biggest adrenaline rush i ever had on a unicycle.

jump or die.

jump and be happy.

okay okay, I think im gonna do it! I just have a question. Where do you hold on to the saddle?

the handle, like normal.

just do it man. you wont get hurt with that. i guess i should take my advice for the 360 unispin lol.

I Did It!!! Pwuhhh! Im The Man!

Yeah!!!

Congo-rats

i see no way that could not be engouregment

CONRATS!!
It took me a lot of staring at the seat, to not do it. Then I started looking at the pedals instead and it was easy!!

You’re da man. (I think it was the reverse Psychology that did it…)

wow, you think your so cool

Shoop da woop, you the man! Now do it while jumping off a picnic table :stuck_out_tongue:

Mr. Farce, let me point a few things out to you.

The OP, squeegy, posted this thread some three years ago… almost before you were born.

His last post on these fora was over six months ago. He is likely not around, and therefore, will not read your grammatically-incorrect, witless sarcasm.

Squeegy is, in fact, cool, for engaging the unicycling community in his pursuit of a new mount, then reporting his results. I’ll forgive him for posting a unicycle-related thread in Just Conversation.

I will not, however, forgive you for bumping said thread for no reason other than to try and take a shot at someone who isn’t here for doing something we all love and enjoy.

You, good Sir, have failed miserably. Good day!
