because I do. and it’s great.

so, who? and how well?

no. but thats cool that you do something like that

I snowboard…And yes. I concur. Snowboarding IS great.
I’ve done 2 seasons, starting my third in January. So I’d say I’m alright.

ny of you who haven’s boarded yet, I recommend you do!

Kit

i snowboard

but i live in maryland where mountains are hills and big snowfalls are the ones where the snow doesn’t melt before hitting the ground

I went snowboarding two days in a row several years ago. It was mad fun and seemed pretty easy to get into - much easier than skiing, by my estimation. I spent a whole day retrieving skis and poles the one day I tried skiing, but with snowboarding I was able to descend the 1800 feet of mountain by the middle part of day 2. I don’t live close enough to the snow to really get into it though, so I haven’t.

I ski pretty well. I’m going for my level 1 CSPA (Canadian Ski Patrol Association) certification this season. It means I can ski free anywhere in Canada which would be awesome, and get by some of the rules, and jump the lift line if need be. I think its a pretty sweet deal. I’m really starting to get ski fever again. I can’t wait to get out.

David

how well?

i did a backflip this year… stoked about that i tell ya now.

Skiing is way cooler…

I sold my snowboard

I agree. I’m a snowboarder, but I’d like to learn to ski again. I tried skiing for a day on a 9 day ski trip in Austria after being a snowboarder for 4 years. It was messy. It’s really hard to get back into it cuz I’m already good at snowboarding.

I’ma boarder… Pretty good, as long as I’m not trying to do tricks. Glades, powder, that kind of stuff rocks! I’ve done Tuckerman Ravine three times on a board. I’m slowing down on the boarding tho, I can’t afford it much… last year I couldn’t afford to go at all… so now I uni all winter
