anybody else got any snow?
a little,but it melted today.
it will be off/on here for a while now.
where are you?
montana how close is that to canada?
oh,montana is at the candanian border, but im a little south of that.2 hundred miles?i dunno.maybe more.
close to helena,if you know were that is.
o i see
Apparently it snowed here at about 1 in the morning, but it’s gone now. There is some on the mountains already. I expect we’ll get some real snow in mid-November.
Yah we had like, 6 inch or so a week ago…it’s melting finally, kinda weird weather right now…fun to unciycle in tho!
Last week we go a foot down here in the valley(6k’) and 5 feet up at mt rose (8-10k’). All of the valley sow melted but all the ski resorts are opening up, so if I can I am going to try and do some snow riding.
Snow in the mountains here; none in the valley yet, although Spokane sometimes gets snow as early as September. Nothing compared to my birthplace, Edmonton, Alberta though. There it sometimes snows every month of the year. Unicycling in the snow is fun:)
i love snow! i got a season pass to a ski resort next to my house, so im gonna go up and uni the slopes. people will ski by and be like “WHAT THE HELL?!?” and then hit a tree.

If I may make a friendly constructive remark: that is a question for
Just Conversation. Conversely, riding in snow would obviously be a
subject for this RSU forum.

A fair point KB, although I did read it as a lead in to uni on snow anyway
N
A few flakes fell yesterday, but nothing on the ground yet… We had a few flakes the 2nd week of September… that was early, even for us…
We had an early winter storm here in the mountains of Arizona last week. 5 in. here in town (7000’) and 12 in. at 10,000.’ It melted in 2 days in town but the mountains are still white. I did do a little riding on the street the first morning. First ride in snow. Didn’t go too badly.
no snow in central iowa yet. in fact it was quite nice yesterday (55+)
I saw a few snowflakes falling to the ground the other day, but it melted away before you could see it.
But it’s time for the first snowfall, with traffic accidents and so on.
Has anyone ever tried to ride on ice in the cold weather, Its crazy fun, just don’t turn steep and try to keep a steady line.
