Hey it’s snowing here again in Pa, actually I think it’s sleeting at the moment. I got up and ready for church and forgot that it was supposed to snow, when I went out there was some on the roads. When we got there they weren’t sure if they were gonna have it, I hadn’t even thought of that untill then, but they had service, it was a cool one. The pastor talked about how Jesus was the light of the world, and how darkness can’t overcome light, but light always overcomes darkness, it made me think. Like if you were in a really really dark room and couldn’t even see your hand infront of your face, you couldn’t do a thing about it. But if you had a flashlight all you had to do was turn it on and BLAM! you can see : ) In the same way this worlds getting darker and darker all the time, and I can’t do nothing about it. But since Jesus is the light of the world and he’s living in me, I can let that light shine and the darkness won’t consume it, cause theres no way it can… so I was glad I didn’t think about the snow too much.
I think i’m gonna spend most of the day at home. I miiiight go out and try to ride unicycle if i’m into getting cold, we’ll see. My friend Andrew got me into making braclets and stuff with hemp, so I can always do that to pass the time, it’s nice to just hang out inside sometimes…
Andrew
Yep, and it started here at about 12:30 and I didn’t even try to MUni in the last one, maybe this one?
wow…
Well this was an exciting day. Here I was on the computer minding my own business when all the sudden, BANG!!! I hear this loud noise, and the house might of shook. Thinking something fell down outside I look out the window and see this little white Jeep imbedded in a telephone pole. So I rand downstairs and went out to check if they was ok. It was a young guy and girl, and they were both ok, cept the guy had a bloody nose, but I thank God it wasn’t bad. We hung out for awhile and talked, some other neibhors came out too. The police came, then I think the guys parents, and after awhile everything was back to normal. Of course three mail boxes flew like ten feet and we gotta put them back up… again… and the telephone poles crooked, but last time someone hit it it was snapped off, and I think mom said that it spun the whole way around over the wires, which I didn’t know, but wow!, that car went on to hit our cement porch. That one was at night, I woke up and saw police I think, but I fell asleep again, but again God kept those guys alive. I think there was another time when out mailboxes got hit, but I only know about that from being told I think.
Glad everyone is OK.
If the utility pole is broken see if they’ll leave the old one behind for a neighborhood skinny! Couldn’t hurt to ask.
hmmmm…
Sorry, but I don’t know what you mean by that. I think the poles not broke anyways. But depending on what a skinny is I might think of asking, thank you : )
Andrew
A “skinny” is any long narrow object that you try to ride on. It could be a log, a wall, a curb, an elevated ladder bridge, or anything else that is long and narrow.
An old telephone pole would make an excellent skinny to ride on. Just lay it on the ground with support to keep it from rolling or rocking or elevate it a foot or two off the ground. Fun!
