today was my first time snow unicycling and i think i will do it alot.i didnt take a camera but next time i will .has anyone else gone unicycling in the snow latley?
I’m getting ready to go out now. Not sure how much snow I will encounter here in Central Pa as the area west of us got alot more snow than we did, but there should be a couple inches up on the mountain. I’ll post pics. Several guys on the “Learning Journal” thread have been snow riding and really enjoy it. What uni are you riding? I just got a Nimbus 26" Muni two weeks ago and the Duro tire seems to hook up well in the snow (around my neighborhood). This will be my first time out on the trails on a uni.
Ride was short. Four inches of snow with a crust on top. As soon as I left the 8" auto tracks, I’d go down. Stopped dead. Guess I’ll continue to ride in the neighborhood park until spring.
Yeah, I had a ‘very soft’ 4 inches on my lawn the other night and was able to bust through it for about 45 feet, but when I went to the dirt running track a the local Jr. High the snow was only 2" deep with a slight crust. Had a hard time getting going and was only able to go 200 yards before I was completely spent. Great workout though!

went out in the snow today did a couple of jummps twas good loved it although it wasnt really snow it was more like slush :c
Have been out with my daughter several times in the last week. There is too much (partially compacted) snow on the trails - but the roads are reasonable. We seem to get more comments than usual…
I really want to do that, but on my hill the wind made the last snow either drift 2 feet deep or leave bare ground, depending on what part of the yard you look at. The middle ground is minimal. Hopefully nexttime will be better:)
