I’ve been riding in snow for two weeks, and it’s been great. Unfortunately, it’s raining really hard now, and all the snow will be gone by the morning. Strange weather for Canada.
maaan, I want snow…actually it’s supposed to snow tonight, but Moscow snow always SUCKS and by this time tomorrow all half an inch of it will be melted and gray and wet and disgusting. oh well…

We got about 8 feet in 2 weeks at my house last year, I made a bunch of crap videos and stuff…
supposed to get like 10 inches tonight… im likin it… and i get to go skiing on wednesday

1" expected today. Weatherman this morning said that in December 2004, we had 9/10ths of an inch of snow all that month. This December, we’re going to surpass that in one day. New puppy, Baxter, was fun to watch playing in his very first snowfall this morning.
Hectic drive to work this morning, too. I had to wait for a whole two cars before I could back out of my driveway. Then this fella was obeying the 20 mph speed limit the entire five blocks of snow-laden roads on my route to work. Rochelle rush minute at it’s finest. Gotta love 'em watching out for my safety and helping to keep my speed in check.
Then when I get to work, there’s this other car in my usual spot. You’d think that with only one other car in the lot and 30 other empty parking spaces, he’d find some other one to occupy. Good thing we had a salesman visit and drop a load of cookies on us yesterday. I wouldn’t know how to survive my spastic morning without them.
So after about four days of pump fakes and false alarms, the Snow God finally delivered to Seattle tonight. My front yard’s at about 3 inches so far, and while that’s not much by any standard of snow I’m used to, it’s at least an inch more that necessary to close schools tomorrow. My son will be in heaven, but what he doesn’t know is that while he’s been sleeping, his mom and dad have already used up a front-yard full of snow building a nice pair of midnight snowmen. 
Once we had the snowmen taken care of, I couldn’t resist pulling the muni out for a couple of laps around the neighborhood. The Gazz tracks just beautifully through the snow. Like buttah.
I rode my bicycle to work again this morning, some snow on the sidewalks but none left in the streets. I gotta say, a bike ride in the morning with a temp of 9 degrees is better than any amount of coffee in the morning mug.
I really should either wear a cap though or wait for my hair to dry completely before the ride.
More snow predicted for tomorrow for our trip to the Christmas tree farm. Should be a beautiful time, wagon rides through the forest, hot cider and warm homemade apple cider donuts, time with the best of friends. I’ll have to post some pictures when we get back.
Yea, we had great snowfall yesterday and a little bit over night. It was a no school “teacher day” today anyway, so it doesn’t really matter how much snow there is… And it’s nice we don’t have to make it up. 
We got the same 2-3 inches in Oly. I buzzed around the block on my DX24. It was so fun I jumped on the 29/Big Apple for another jaunt around the neighborhood. The BA was spinny on a back mount, but felt fine underway, on the easy street inclines that I pedaled. Very cool.

It’s been snowing all day here. It should be a great weekend for a ride. Sucks to be me. I’m out of commish with a knee injury. Hopefully next weekend.
How rare is snow over there? We (iowans) don’t close school for much less than a couple feet, and even then it’s rare. Unless it’s a white out blizzard we expect school no matter how much snow we have. The kids out on the farms that need to come into town either skip that day or drive their 4x4 farm trucks in.
You should try living in the UK… More than about 2 cms of snow and the whole country grinds to a halt:

holy cow! 400 cars abanded for 3 inches of snow?!? We had 3 inches in 4 hours the other night, and we didn’t even stop deliverying food. No one even thought twice. We just had 2 more inches in 1.5 hours during the day today and the roads are just as busy, no major accidents.
I guess it’s what you grow up with… We all think this is minor snow fall.
Dang, we have over a foot and it doesnt change much… schools dont close, nuthin’.
