I know there was some conversation earlier about slacklines, but I belive it was just someone asking which would be a good choice to buy. I really enjoy it, its a lot of fun. All I can do [so far] is walk back and fourth over the line, but I still find it fun. I know that there are some slackliners on the the forums. What can you do? How long have you been doing it? Do you find it fun?..Discuss.
I can slackline, though My mom rarly lets me take it out…
I can walk backwards and forwards, turn around (most of the time), and start from sitting…I can also jump mount (for lack of a better term…)
Can’t wait till our trees grow
If you don’t have anything else to try, try sitting on it (or kneel). I saw someone do it a while ago.
I can kneel sometimes too…it’s hard though.
walk on your hands on it:D !!!
That would be a bit hard, but not impossible. I saw someone do a handstand, sort of. The rope was on his shoulder. I can try finding the pic, if you like
I can do the same stuff as James… have also been working on yoga poses on the line (tree, flying warrior, etc.).
I got my turns down and have been working on chaining them, so I can do a turn with every step.
Once that’s dialed in I want to start trying some bokken / bo / jo kata on the line.
umm ive got a bit of a qustion whats a Slackline
I was at the chinese state circus, I saw this amazing guy walk his hands on it. He then produced a tyreless unicycle with the seat split in two, he put his sholders on each side and then rode the uni over the line with his hands!
here
Its sort of like a tight rope but theres just more slack on the line. Hence “slack” line.
EDIT: Look at my profile image and you will see.
Where do you hang your slackline? And how do you stay on? Do you swing it like idling, or just stay still?
you give up and hit 3 pallets
Wait a minute. I haven’t jumped up 2 pallets for more than a week now. I don’t know if I can still do it:D
Quick, someone get him 2 pallets.
where does one get a “seat” like that?
and rim??
I have 2 pallets at home. I’ll try today:D
But back ontopic: Is it necessary to have the wide line or can I have an average round rope for that?
