Am I learning at a normal pace?

Your doin just fine I would say

Yeah I agree, your doing fine. Really the only pace that is normal is the one that you can handle. Unicycling is wierd because some people learn in leaps and bounds for no apparent reason, while others will learn very slowly.

For me I find that I learn really slowly for a long time, then boom I will learn a whole bunch really fast, then its back to slowly creeping.

Alot of it has to do with motivation aswell. When I’m motivated to learn a trick and I practice alot and really hard, I will learn much faster, but if I’m just messing around trying to learn a few new things, it will usualy take me a long time.

I also find that I can pick up the basics of most freestyle moves pretty easily, but to be able to do them farther than one or two revs will take much longer. On the other side of that though, learning street tricks usualy takes me a long time.

Long story short, your doing great, don’t worry about a thing.

You’re doing better than me! I’ve been riding since November and can only just now right about 3 feet away from whatever I use to mount. And thats only like every 4 out of 10 tries! Ah well, thats what you get when you only ride for like 15 minutes every 3 weeks!
