Skate bike enquiries

I’ve got someone who wants to get a hold of a skate bike. Any one know of a
manufacturer? I’ve long since lost the contact details of the only person I new
who dealt with them.

I remember a discusion on them a few months back so if someone has some details
archived somewhere I’d be appreciative.

I usually recommend people to start at eBay. This isn’t guaranteed, of
course, and it might be hard to ship one if you live in New Zealand or other
remote place.

So based on the above, I would also be interested in an address or Web site if
anybody knows of one.

Re: Skate bike enquiries

A manager of a large chain of restaurants in the islands contacted me about
getting skatebikes for her wait staff. I was willing to sell mine but realized I
had only one & it wasn’t worth the labor in packaging & going through customs so
i posted to the newsgroup & someone gave me a skatebike website. I THINK the
website was something like www.skatebike.com. Perhaps there’s a way of finding
it by using a search engine and searching skatebike???

I was actually going to sell my skatebike (it’s NEVER been used) on ebay or post
it to the unicycle newsgroup but a friend who runs a circus club wants it so
instead i’m not making a profit :-(. i just don’t think going from l to 3 wheels
can be all that fun.

My son Daniel and his friends do amazing things with their skatebikes. Here in
British Columbia we have had a skatebike craze the last few months, with prices
from $90 to $200 Canadian (60 to 135US). Apparently the Razor ones are the best:
very ingenious and robust design.

Blessings!
