We have just returned from the 56th World Science Fiction Convention in
Baltimore, Maryland, where our six-year-old daughter Ilyana was a professional
guest. She not only demonstrated her high-school level reading and math
abilities, but also did a unicycling demonstration for both kids and adults to
show how learning to unicycle also boosts the communication between the right
and left hemispheres of the brain and enhances learning. She had a great time,
unicycling the length of the convention center to enthusiastic applause. Many
parents were intrigued to learn about the benefits of unicycling for their kids.
To our knowledge, this is the first time unicycling was demonstrated as a World
SF Convention topic.
RE: six-year-old unicycling at World Science Fiction Convent
“Fascinating.”
So shouldn’t the proud parent be proud enough to sign the message? Who are you?
