It sounds like they will probably turn it into houses
I guess Cody and I won’t be getting out unicycling jobs back there next year.

Sorry to hear that. It sounds like “yours” is not the only one they are selling.
I’m just glad that they are not selling the Chicago one.
six flags astroworld/waterworld has already been sold and leveled. it is probably being turned into houses. six flags is also considering the sale of splashtown. i hear the company is deep in debt so they’re getting rid of a few parks around the country.
Aw, that’s not a good sign. There is still a possibility that a theme park company will buy it and it will stay how it is…
Where is six flags astroworld/waterworld?
I don’t want it to stay how it is, it needs to be properly managed and not run inot hte ground as it is being now. Thier employee to guest ratio is so low it’s disheartening. Thier rides are poorly maintined and regularly run below capacity. If they could get their act together the park could be far more profitable.
I can see why it might be more profitiable to sell though, the park is too big for it’s britches landwise. In area it’s proably at least 2 or 3 times the size of Disneyland, but proably has the same number or fewer actual rides. It has a low attrction density which is fairly poor land use.
I know about SFMM, because I am a coaster fanatic, I build K’nex roller coasters.
I just had a dream about riding X. There is a member on a K’nex roller coaster forum who unicycles, his avatar is him doing a seat drop.
I hope SFMM dosen’t get sold, although it probably will…
^ You are right, this member was talking about unicycling around it, but didn’t get the job. I wish I could get 12 dollars for riding a unicycle, especially there!
Yeah, Cody and I had jobs uniing there. He had it for like 2 weeks I think and I had it for a day. Then they laid us off.
I jus hope they don’t sell the ones in Texas…
astroworld(+waterworld) was, and splashtown is, in houston.
X is an amazing ride. We usually go to SFMM in November when the crowds are low. We have the California State BMX awards there… then a few hundred BMXers raid the rides… hardly any lines… it’s great. But I have heard that it can get pretty rough during the summer time with gang punks moving in and making walking around scarier than any of the ride.
You kids ruin everything. Back to your rooms! And don’t come out till you learn to behave. You’re all officially grounded.
Ha ha! We need a national grounded week. All kids will be grounded for a week just because. Then the rest of us can go outside in peace.
