Shin Guards?

Why was the bumped? its almost 7 years old.

Because if he would have started a new thread he would have gotten a hecklin’.
I commend thee, unicyclepunk. Most new users’ first threads are repeats.
There have been bigger bumps.

There deasnt need to be anything posted about it though, because there are way more than one of these types of threads.

Hey,

KH leg armor should be available again everywhere by January 2009. Will announce details about that soon.

Soccer shin guards seem like they are just what you are looking for.

616 with the plastic shells on shin and knees are my favorite. They slide better on rocks and cement. Also they flex easier at the knee when riding.
The back of the leg is exposed which hasn’t been a problem yet. With warmer climate they breathe better.

shoots!

Because this is the forum that John Foss wants. No new threads ever made, ever…

Though he probably doesnt like the title.

Azonics for Coverage!

I love my Azonics! They are just one peice of Neoprene material without straps. I have two pairs. A size large for wearing over jeans and a size small for wearing with shorts. They totally cover the back of the calf! They are a little hot but they give the best protection of anything on the market.

I like the 661 4x4’s. Even with them on, with a major hit, this happened to me last month. You can see some older scrapes there too.

Jenson USA has the Veggie Wraps on sale for $21. The attachable knee guards are only going for 20 bucks over there, compared to the normal 40 or so dollars.

Greenfish Adventure Sports has the 2006/07 version of the 4x4 for $29.

i bought some of these a couple months ago… i love them.

they fit under my pants pretty easy, and they take less than a minute to put on. fox also has a warranty on their products. so if any of the stitching is coming out, just return them.

am I the only one who has never needed shin gaurds or is it because my pedals arent spiky?

I have some Fox knee/shin gaurds and love them. They are also very handy when teaching new riders as the newbies tend to (accidentally) sling their unis at you.

I’m currently learning to ride one footed and found that when I UPD forward of my uni the seat often comes down and hits the back of my riding leg. After being bruised repeatedly I decided to slip a soccer shin gaurd down the back of my Fox’s over my calf. Voila, problem solved!

i’m lost… the 44’s were on, and you had a major hit… and you still got that f?k#d up from it ?
