I’ve been sick today too - got the flu from little sprogling. Trouble is I was off work already - on holiday and it wasn’t raining. I could have been out on my uni.

My favourites are the ‘Real Man Saddle’ and the ‘Carrababy’.
I’d love to see a ‘Real Man Saddle’ on a unicyle!(as long as it’s not my unicycle:)

You too. I think I lowered my resistance by overdoing that ride on Monday. Should’ve kept my shirt on too. Will I ever learn.

I missed an important work meeting in Manchester, so I’ll prob’ly get it in the neck. Still, I’ll be in tomorrow because I’m a little soldier.

You might think that this would not be right, and that the Wright brothers had it backwards, because the friction of the pedal bearings would tend to turn the right pedal to the left and the left pedal to the right. Thus, the right-handed right pedal should fall right out, while the left handed left pedal would be left in place…but it doesn’t work that way; instead an interaction with the Earth’s magnetic field sets up eddy currents right in side the pedal axles, leading to a tendency for the pedals to tighten themselves, as if by magic.

I’m afraid it won’t work for a unicycle, it would distort the balance envelope too much. Otherwise a very clever idea! (Yes I inserted a smiley for once.)
