shaun white 4-peats at winter x

did anyone see it earlier? its 4 in a row for him in slopestyle. he pulled off one 900 and 2 1080’s in the same run. it was awesome. anyone see it? no one may care but to me-that was awesome. good energy.

dang wish i would have seen that

i think he pulled off a 900 and three 1080’s in one run.

Two 1080s, still amazing. It was sweet, but a girl did it earlier in the day.

No, Janna Mayan did a different 4-peat run than Shaun…

Last night Shaun won the Superpipe finals. http://expn.go.com/expn/story?pageName=060130_superpipe_finals

Which makes him the most decorated in X games history, and tied with Shaun Palmer for most X Gold medals (6)

You can see his winning run, and just about everything else, HERE
(sorry, no direct link, go down to “Winter X motion”)

His last run was way overscored, as well as some of the other competitors runs being underscored. I have been watching most of it live, it is quite fun. The concerts this weekend were sweet. Tonight, watch the skiers go BIG out of the pipe, 20+’. Go Peter Olenik! our homeboy

so peter o. is a competitiotor in skiing-do you know him personally?

yes, we are good friends with the whole family. my son ski’s with him when he is in town.

that is so cool man. :)really.

No such luck, 7th place…

Tanner Hall got his first superpipe gold medal. A Montana Native. And after breaking both ankles in 2005, having to learn to walk all over again, let alone how to ski…

I’ve heard about Tanner’s crash last year, and also Simon Dumont’s huge crash, but I’ve never seen them. Wow! :astonished:

Simons crash, 50 mph at a 90+ foot jump, overshoots the landing by over 100 feet, ruptured his spleen and fractured his pelvis in six places(not sure when that was, couple years ago…) At the end of every run tonight he was wincing… crazy.
