Just checking to see how everyone is doing after the Quake of 2001! Things have
been a little shaky this afternoon. All the family is gathered up and damages
are checked out. The things I expected to fall and break are ok and other
things are on the floor. We went to the school were the unicycles are kept and
found them all ok. There was plaster on the floor and in helmets from a large
crack in the wall. Was anyone on their unicycle when it hit? Barb North Bend

I was at my computer here on the third floor of our home. The creaks, groans,
and pops were very scary, but everything is okay here.
My neighbor runs a daycare, so I ran there as soon as it seemed safe. Kathleen
and the kids were huddled in the basement upset and tearful. It was tough.
Nobody hurt that I know of.
The after-school unicycle class I help teach was still on, but a lot of our 3rd
and 4th graders didn’t show. Lots of great energy though.
