Second-hand uni wanted (UK)

I’m currently still plodding along on a borrowed 20" uni, and am longing to
get my hands on a 26" for road use. Trouble is, I just can’t afford it at
the moment.

I found myself wondering if I might be able to get hold of a second hand one and
figured I might as well ask here if anyone has one kicking around unused that
they’d be happy to let go of. From my regular reading of this group, I get the
impression that many of you are constantly upgrading, and are therefore likely
to have old unis left forlorn and lonely, perhaps longing to be ridden again.
I’m assuming if I can persuade my wife I’ve found a really good bargain, she
might let me get away with spending a little cash.

If you think you might be able to help, please let me know.

Hmmm, no response… I guess I’ll just have to keep saving my pennies then.

Second hand uni’s of any description are really hard to get hold of in my
experience. I felt I was dead lucky to get hold of a second hand 20’’ pashley
and that took me a matter of months.

Uni’s take up little space, don’t return much on second hand sales and often
have sentimental value, people just don’t want to part with them.
