I am kind of reintroducing my self to the unicycle community
i started unicycling when i was 15 i believe and over the past two years its kinda slipped further and further out of my frequented hobbies.
well i since have finished highschool and moved out of my lame hometown of jacksonville florida and, moved to seattle wa…
ive been here since the fourth of july
and the last couple of months ive been itchin to uni man
seattle seems perfect for it
so i tried to get my mom to send me my unis
she decided to buy me a new one!!! i was so psyched
but its on its way (29 inch nimbus)
and i dont know any unicyclists in the area.
and if i can remember correctly from my forum activity. there is a much bigger unicycle community in seattle than where im from
The SARs (Seattle Area Riders) have been pretty pathetic lately. We used to ride a variety of terrains and frequently. You can get on the mailing list using
unicyclers-subscribe at iunicycle dot com
which will join you up. Note that it is iunicycle, not unicycle. You can send a message to the list and organize a ride. We need someone to organize a ride.
As is often the case, Harper speaks the truth. It’s not so much that we’re pathetic, rather geriatric. The only ride we’ve managed in the last couple months was organized by one of the newer young riders. He did a great job organizing the ride, and old people showed up to grunt and bitch their way onto their cokers for the first time in months.
If you have a 29", we might be able to keep up with you on our 36-ers. Organize away!

PS: for a view of what we looked like when we were riding, there are some pics here.
