seats and posts

In Australia we are somewhat limited to our choice of unicycle saddle.

We have Viscounts and those dodgy Banana seats that cause bodily harm.

Before I order a new comfy seat, here is a question. Will a Miyata or a
Semcycle seat fit onto a Viscount seat post?

Wayne van Wijk

yes – Viscount and Semcycle seat posts are interchangable. (Well, the sem
deluxe seat posts have holes drilled along the tube, but dimentions are
the same.) A Miyata seat with Miyata seat post will also work. Miyata seat
posts are not exactly the same as sem or viscount in the part where they
connect to the seat itself, but the tube is of the same diameter.

Hope that helps. Jeff Lutkus

Semcycle will fit on the Viscount post, Miyata will not. If you go with
Miyata, you’ll need to get the matching Miyata seat post (or one of those
expensive Wilder post adapter things).
