im looking for a seatpost adapter for a rail type seatpost, and possibly a seatpost if you have one.(22.2)
I dont really care how used it is as long as it is in pretty good condition.
I’m hoping someone out there has an extra one sitting around that they would be willing to sell.

Tight on cash? Get a Primo ROD seatpost… it comes in 22.2, is made for rail-type seatposts, and it’s barely $20 USD.
yea thanks maestro, i was actually planning on getting that seatpost once i get an adapter.
Resurecting an old thread, I am considering making some of these rail adapters, if there is any interest, I would probably make 10 at a time and make them available. they would be 4130 steel tig welded, could make them with or without brake mount. I suspect approx $20 each cover materials. would prototype, post image and test prior to shipping any, at 250lbs I make a good product tester.

Because I’m looking at adapting a regular bike seat to my unicycle, this post grabbed my attention.

A rail adapter would allow you to mount a standard unicycle saddle to a rail style bicycle seat post. What you want to do is easier you just need to buy a bicycle seat post that fits your uni frame. Most (but not all) are 1” (25.4mm) diameter.

I’ve got the seat and post, but am trying to figure out the handle.
Without the normal long seat nose to mount a handle, I need to do something else.
Try half an adjustable tandem stoker stem and shims. I did it for ‘reasons’ (being cheap and then buying twice… cough… 5 times…) and with the bent shadow bar handle you can get a reasonable bar position.
Back on topic @BigRobPage, would you consider doing a slotted end on a slightly longer brake mount. This would allow for a handlebar to be fitted if the rider wanted..
