Schwinn Vs Sem

Hi All,

How do 20" Schwinn and Sem frames compare against each other on weight and
strength? I think (but I sure ain’t sure) I’ve read somewhere that the Schwinn
is stronger but heavier…

Cheers, Neil

Re: Schwinn Vs Sem

They’re both heavy and flimsy. Get a United frame.

The Semcycle bends easily at the base of the seat post. Of course it is
considerably lighter.

The United frame from Unicycle.com is incredible value at $34 for a 24". It is
very strong and light, with pillow block bearing holders. Its only weak spot is
the cheesy bearing cap retainer bolts, but they are cheap and easy to upgrade.

Blessings!
