I took a look on eBay and was amazed at how many unicycles are for sale there.
There is even a guy selling an old Schwinn white wall “unicycle” tire (says
unicycle on it and takes 60 psi). Most of the estimated dates on the cycles are
much older than the cycles really are. There is an old Columbia, which is
probably the oldest one there. Someone else has a generic Taiwan uni they say is
from the 60’s or 70’s, but the design clearly shows it’s from the 80’s. Plenty
of bargains can be had, for anyone looking to purchase used!

RE: Schwinn Chrome Unicycle For Sale

I can not seam to find the early or mid-seventies Schwinn on the web.
When I click on the link I get the 404 error thing. I would be
interested in this unicycle as I use a 79’ Schwinn. Could anyone help
me with this dilemma.

RE: Schwinn Chrome Unicycle For Sale

Web page URLs with line breaks in them don’t paste into browsers well. It’s
easier to go to www.ebay.com and search on “unicycle”. Then you can actually
shop there (Saturday I got 12 items, 8 of which were actual unicycles)!

RE: Schwinn Chrome Unicycle For Sale

Any comments about the Semcycle for sale on e-bay? Can anyone
tell me if it is an XL?

RE: Schwinn Chrome Unicycle For Sale

That’s definitely a 26". Question is, does the frame rub? I know the Semcycle
frame will not flex as much as a Schwinn frame, but the clearance around the
tire is very tight. Don’t know if you can contact the seller to find out about
this. Otherwise, it looks like a sweet setup for MUni riding on steep trails!

Hi Mike, It sure looks like a beauty. Your collection has to be

Well, looks like I snagged another one for the
herd. Thanks for your interest in my new uni
(UMX). I'll be sure and let you boys know
whether or not the tire rubs the frame (as soon
as I get my hands on it).
