Hmm, is there a history somewhere that I can go and look at?

I don’t understand the colouring of 00031. It wasn’t returned when Alan had it (it was sold to me), and wasn’t broken when I had it. A flange broke when it was was re-laced it but I thought it was still in use with a long spoke (Aaaagh - broken flange on my Schlumpf)

I moved the 500 posts of history in a private category so it wouldn’t show many duplicate entries in the search, but I understand that the history until now can be useful in some way, so I’ve moved here: Old "schlumpf hub serial number references" replies
edit: I’ve set the topic unlisted so it won’t appear in the search, but only with the direct link.

I just added the colors so I may have done a mistake, but I think @Maxence has more information than me

I don’t really know, sorry. I only remembered there were some colors on this list, but can’t remind exactly the list. It could probably be found in the archive of this post.

Here’s the last post with the original BBcode:

Third edit to add a picture of my G36 (M0821). A last edit should appear once my second hub is repaired (M0441).

[COLOR=red]- please use the quote button to make sure the hyperlinks and colors etc don't get lost!
- remove the quote tags (in square brackets) at the beginning and the end
- also write down what you changed (serial number of added hub) in the title of your post.[/COLOR]

You can paste it in a BBcode preview page like https://www.bbcode.org/playground.php to see the original colors.

Ahh, I think the colour was mostly added to differentiate between owners rather than to show broken/replaced etc.

I’ve edited it now anyway

I’m not sure if I added the colouring or it got added when I commented when I bought the hub. Yes I broke the flange when relacing and repaired it with a double length spoke. It’s still in use - apart from that I’ve not ridden it for a year or so.

@Canapin It’s great to have converted it in wiki!

And by the way, to add some information, we should put titles at the beginning of each paragraph, where a paragraph corresponds to a hub version.

I know there is at least :

  • one version with a square axis (how many?)
  • an ISIS version where the radius holes are 92mm in diameter (up to M0399) (an interesting information for Martin and Roger’s adapter)
  • then a version where the radius holes are 91mm in diameter (and better bearings?) (M0400 to M0799 or M0899?)
  • then the last version (M0800+ or M0900+?)

But have there been any other changes? In addition to adding value, it would tell the story of this fabulous hub!

Sounds like a similar amount of use to when I owned it!

I tried to add the information as good as i knew.

For reference, see Schlumpf Hub History
