Savages (Was:re: new unicycles under the tree)

Jason: don’t know what to say about the seat I also have a savage and never
had any ridden any other type of seat so I just assumed that all seats were
like that.

But with the savage I remind you to tighten the crank cotter pins often because
I didn’t and my axle got worn down and I had to weld the crank on.

Also, check to make sure the right pedal is on the right side, and same with the
left… this may sound odd, but with my 6’ Savage, the pedals were on the wrong
sides, and slowly came off… just so happened that they fell off while i was
free-mounting… which became a free-falling. not fun.

What about the Savage seats? they are much softer then the other unicycle seat’s
i’ve seen, and i really like them, but they get dameaged pretty easily. i find
mine get loose and turn easily if i don’t tighten them quite often.

and you know how they can tilt? my 6’ seat has taken to tilting quite a lot, so
when i’m riding, the seat kind of tilts up, so the end i’m sitting on
dissapears, and once again i’m free-falling.

come to think of it… the seats aren’t all that great.

they are comfortable when they work though.
