I was looking on youtube for a video of Jane Goodall, and I found this one:
It’s really interesting, and I was gonna post it in the MR thread but then realized I don’t think we’ve had a thread on the topic of bigfoot, sasquatch, yeti, etc. and I wanna hear some other people’s opinions. Do you think they exist, why or why not?

I really don’t think they do then again I am not that sure. The only reason I have really is that if so many people have seen them why don’t we have evidence that will prove it 100% like a body or something… So I am kinda in between I would say I am leaning toward that they don’t exist a little more but, I willing to change my opinion…
I have no strong opinions on the matter, I do believe that the majority of sightings are bogus (there was one sighted last month 130 km NE of Prince Albert last month).
The fact that Jane Goodall believes that they are real makes it more credible in my view. She is almost for-sure the best person to get to talk about this subject.
I agree…a lot of people must make fake footprints, or dress up to take pictures or scare people, then try to sell something to the National Inquirer. What gets me though (and Jane mentioned it in the clip) is that people from all different cultures around the world who have nothing to do with one another, all describe seeing the same creature…it’s not very possible that so many people would make up something so exactly similar.
Sasquatch is a UFO. Same nonsense. Are there UFOs? Yes. Are any of them spaceships from other planets? Maybe. Are there any conclusive sightings? No. In fact, if you watch TV specials about UFOs you will notice a tendency to focus on the “interesting” and a tendency to not focus on ways to determine if stuff is real. I’ve yet to see one that is actually trying to find out if any sightings are bogus; most are vehicles to continue the fascination and ambiguity.
I remember seeing something about that old Sasquatch film, but I can’t remember the details. Something about how if the camera was on a tripod, which I belive it was, why wasn’t the picture more clear/steady? If this is our best example of Sasquatch, I’d like to point out that he has the exact same proportions and body language as a man. In a costume.

Sasquatch is a creature of the northwest woods. Washington residents know his existance to be real. He prefers the muddy troughs at the bottom of wooded valleys. Only occassionally does he stray from the deep pine forests into more urban areas in search of food.
Below is a rare photograph of a northwest Sasquatch in an urban environment. Due to extensive flooding in the forested regions, he was forced into public areas to hunt for small birds.
I recall hearing the film was shot from horseback, not a tripod.
I also remember someone going through great pains to explain how the angle of the knees “proved” it couldn’t be a guy in a suit.
It STILL looks like a guy in a suit to me!
Didnt the guy who made the first most famous video of BigFoot recently die and his family came out and confessed it wasn’t real.
The last time I watched a supposed “investigative” UFO special, one of the incidents they focused on was a sighting of several very bright objects in the sky over Phoenix, AZ that was seen, photographed and videotaped by lots of people in various parts of town. They showed several video clips and photos, and speculated wildly on how high these lights were, and how far away they were. Not once did they mention anything about triangulating the data from the various observers to find this information out for real. That’s all they would have needed to do, but apparently that information didn’t support the story so it was omitted. If you ignore science, it’s like you’re trying to convince us of Intelligent Design…
I heard that too, the creator of the modern American legend anyway…except that reports of some sort of Yeti creature go back hundreds(thousands?) of years (:
If you watch the Patterson video carefully, you can see that the creature has boobs…which to me makes it seem more real, because what kind of an idiot would make a costume with hairy boobs on it?

I watched some of that movie last week, i was in the studio alone at about 5 in the morning. I was at the studio because the power went out and i had to switch to satalite. for some reason the computer still runs when the power is out (must have a generorater of sorts) and it scared the heeby jeebies out of me 
Doesn’t the heeby jeebies refer to that creepy-crawly feeling you get when you’re scared? And wouldn’t that mean you got the fear scared out of you?
