Hi all…I was just wondering if there are any members here that live in the Saint Petersburg, Florida area. If so that might like to meet some where to exchange stories or to do some riding or training? I could use some enouragement as I haven’t found anyone that rides or is interested. i can juggle three balls and am learning clubs and five balls soon, i live in michigan, but my sister lives in sarasota/bradenton, do you know where that is?
if you stick with it long enough(the unicycling and all) i am gonna move down to tampa(hopefully) in about 6 or 7 years to go to college, then i would be able to ride, i dont have a coker but hopefully by then i will

I live in St. Pete and am new to the one wheel world. I have a 20" Avenir (cheap I know) and I’d like to learn how to ride it. If there’s a place around here where people can help a new guy learn to ride, let me know!

There are a handful of us that ride on the other side of the bridge in the Tampa area (even if more of us live farther away than Tampa). We do occasional urban rides, fairly frequent muni, and have been trying to put together a friendly group for messing around with unicycle polo.
I’m sure we could arrange a meet-up at a park somewhere for some lessons/meetup/hangout, though the next few weeks may be busy off and on with Asheville MUni Fest coming up, and the local MTB club’s Fat Tire Festival a few weeks later. Post up here or send a PM if you’re interested!
