Sacramento area muni ride in June?

I will be in Sacramento (California) for business Monday June 17 through
Wednesday June 19 and would like to bring my muni and ride on Saturday (the
15th) and/or Sunday (the 16th). I will probably fly to Sacramento,
although I might consider driving if my wife were to come (she is a novice
rider and likes to muni, but won’t come unless she can find another novice
rider who would like to ride that weekend), or if the best chance of rides
were in the Bay area. I want to finalize my travel plans within the next
month or so, so if anyone is interested, please contact me.

That sounds like a good excuse to see if we can set up a group ride in your
honor. It’s been a while since we’ve had a proper one up here. We can ride
on trails we’ve mostly already been on, or try for something new. I’d like
to ride again on the South Yuba Trail, where Brett Bymaster took me once.
It’s a good hour or more drive from here, but worth the trip. Even Auburn
and Folsom Lake take a minimum of half an hour to get to from my house now
anyway.

We could even head up to the Tahoe area, but there might still be some snow
on some areas.

Who’s up for a Sacramento-based group ride on June 15 or 16?

Do you need a place to stay?
