Hey Idiorythmic. Awesome to see you on the forums and put a face to a screen name. I am the member of team tricycle (Levi) who was falling alseep at the table near you at the end of stage 4.
Ha ha, yeah, sleepy Levi, how are ya? It was fun playing leap frog with you guys all across Nova Scotia. I hope you’re all caught up on your sleep now.
Great video! Man, some of those riders are just blazing in those clips. Stunning. And the girl in white, even with a couple falls, she was pretty much putting on a master class in all aspects of walking the wheel. That was great.
I just found Veronique slideshow on youtube- it’s pretty good!
Veronique was our Team NZUNI support person. And the Basement Jaxx song was what was pumping us up when we were riding!
great video nexty. I’m not really into the competitive aspect of the RTL, just love unicycling and seeing it celebrated. I enjoyed watching the video a bunch.

yep:)
Steph put up a few of her pics here:

There are still more, and it is missing the best photo which shows the ridiculous team goonies sunburn.
You can see some of our pictures on this page www.einrad.eu/lobster (sorry only in german) but we have tons more which we probably will upload somewhere later.
Amazing.
I am not used to seeing people sit so high on the big wheels with the short cranks.
Some of the riders look very young. What were the ages of the youngest riders?
Great pics. Thanks.
The youngest team of riders was 2Y2D (2 young 2 drive). Here is there RTL profile with ages: http://www.ridethelobster.com/race/teams/2Y2D/index.php
But the youngest was Hyun Uk Jung from team UFO I am pretty sure.
Unicycle Max bearing down on Day 4
A local newspaper photographer got this amazing pic of Max and…well, have a look.
Wow! I never heard about that! Awesome picture.
Which day was that?
Really cool! I had a similar nature experience where a bald eagle was watching me ride (or, he was watching the fish flop around in the river). He couldn’t have been more than 20ft away. Unfortunately, there wasn’t anybody around to take a photo. I’m pretty sure I shouted out “Did you see that!!!”, but I was riding solo at the time.
I think I’m experiencing Nova Scotia withdrawl.
Day 4 of the race: send in the bears.
June 19, in Pictou County en route to Antigonish.
Maybe Max blogged about the encounter?
william.
How many people saw the turtle crossing the road? That was also pretty funny…if I wasn’t riding, I would have snapped a pic. I forget which day it was.
corbin
A kitten ran onto the road as we (team smile) were doing a transition
I’m pretty sure Steph or Spencer got a pic of the turtle, I’ll post it if Steph comes across it in her camera.
