RSS for RSU

I got a RSS feed for RSU working.
You find it here: http://unicyclist.org/rsu/rsu.xml

Windows users that don’t have a RSS reader yet can use SharpReader.

There are links to the Google interface, but my RSS feed often updates faster than the Google cachetime.
So I advice to use a configured newsagent like for example Outlook.

Also the limit for RSS entries is 25 items.
And so -since this newsgroup is very busy- you will most likely miss posts when you are offline for long.
But this feed is a nice tool to receive instant notify of any new post in the newsgroup.

Sometimes the (hacked polish) NNTP server I use times out.
Then feed becomes invalid (and so unavailable).
But go ahead, test it, and leave feadback here.

Nice. Any Idea where one might find an RSS reader for a Nokia 3650 phone? :slight_smile:

Have no model to test it on (yet!) but Wild Palm seems to work for you.

They do have a program called “Headline”. It appears to work pretty well, and I think it’s worth registering. There’s one problem with the RSU feed, though. (At least I think it’s a problem) The subjects all show up, but not the messages. Is this what it’s intended to display, or should there be more? This is my first time playing with RSS feeds, but my friend’s blog as well as some other news sites seem to load well.
