I don’t know what/why the word “Redline” is in there.
The black Torkers (called the LX in the 2004 model year) are the clear best value for the dollar. The above is just about the same price as you’ll find at unicycle.com.
The black/LX Torkers can take a fair amount of light abuse (drops, hops, etc). But you’re also reasonable good sized, so you won’t be able to push the Torker quite as far.
I don’t think you can find a better uni until you’re ready to spend (at least) $150-$200.
I second the motion. You can find the LX for a buy-it-now price on e-bay for under $75.00 plus shipping. The DX is a significant upgrade for about $150.00 (splined cranks) If you actually end up using it as you say you will, the LX should be plenty adequate. However, if you intend to keep reading this forum you will soon find yourself doing things you never thought you would. And then you will find yourself buying the DX or perhaps an even more expensive uni or MUni. But I don’t feel sorry for you. In fact I’m excited for you! Because I know you’re walking perilously close to the “point of no return” and it’s wonderful:D
The Torkers are great. I think you get about the most bang for you buck with them.
Another one to consider is the Nimbus MUni. It isn’t as strong as the Torker DX, but it can fit a larger tire, and it has a square taper hub. The hub isn’t as strong as the one on the Torker DX, but it has many more crank lengths. The ability to change crank lengths will allow you to experiment with different styles of riding.
Whatever brand you get, I would go for a 24 or 26. With your size, a 20 will feel like a toy and won’t let you go anywhere. This is of course unless freestyle is your thing. In that case a 20 is better.

The advice by duaner, elmer and daino149 is excellent. In addition (as no one mentioned it yet), I think that unicycling.org is very much outdated in their recommendations as quoted above.
Oh, and welcome back to the Wonderful World of Unicycling!

I posted this 16 hours ago but the gateway once more doesn’t work so I repost directly at the forum. Sh*t!!

I probably don’t need to mention this, but I agree. The Torker is what you’ll probably want to go with.
What kind of exercise? What kind of fun? A lot of riders nowadays seem to be getting into MUni (mountain unicycling). If you want a serious upgrade, go with a Torker DX 24". It will be plenty strong for what you will probably be doing, and it comes with a substantially more comfortable seat. Any questions about unicycle quality, ask here. Trust us. Collectively, we’re pretty smart!
