I’ll see you on the dark side of the moon.
Doesn’t the song say we’re already on the dark side of the moon?
When I saw the title, my first thought was you are about 40 years late. I equate Richard Wright with the author who wrote Native Son.
I guess I am not as much of a Pink Floydd fan as I thought I was.
When I first heard the news I thought there goes even the remote possibility of another special reunion show like they did for Live 8. Then I got the idea that there are very good tribute bands, like The Australian Pink Floyd Show, with very capable keyboard players. The show could go on. There could be a benefit show for cancer research by Pink Floyd. It could happen. Not gonna happen, but it could. And what a benefit show it would be.
A sad day indeed. I was also hoping that they would get back into the studio and release another album. It’s been a long time since The Division Bell. Perhaps they would now that Roger Waters and David Gilmour have burried the hatchet… or so I am led to believe.
RIP. Rick Wright
Yeah, sad news indeed. But it did make me dig out some Floyd and enjoy his talent.
Enjoy the great gig in the sky Rick.
