Marlon Brando, the man who supposedly suggested that Superman’s father, Jor-El, for whom he supplied the voice, be depicted as a bagel since no one really knew what he looked like anyway, has died.
For that alone, he’ll be missed, but he gave us so much more.

Actually, since Jor-El had never been pictured, he was suggesting using the image of his twin brother Bag-El, who had been photographed extensively as a child. The suggestion was widely mis-quoted by the alien-phobic right-wing press.
The point is he choked on an orange slice.
