I’ve made it up a 7 set on my KH24, there a pic about halfway down
http://www.xs4all.nl/~klaasbil/muniweekend05.htm . Those were quite
shallow steps as well. The trick is a fast run-up, and then power. And
a soft tyre helps, too.

Nice job, Klaas!

Looks like you have some pretty neat places to ride in the Netherlands. I especially like that skatepark!

Have you ridden up the ramp to the left of the one you’re riding the picture with the caption “Klaas rolling up a rather steep grade. The secret is called ‘speed’.” That ramp on the left seems ideal for a Coker. The ramps in the next picture below that one look real sweet for a Coker, too - though I doubt I could get up that really steep one in the middle. I’d really love to find out, though! Seems like reason enough to plan a trip to Holland! I bet Brian MacKenzie would come along, too… he needs some European scenes for one of his next movies (amongst other reasons)!

No I haven’t even tried, it was too intimidating for me.

You would be ‘da man’ if you could!

You’we welcome of course! The organisers of our weekend rented that
whole hall for two hours. I am not sure if the skatehall would let us
ride with skaters. There are more pics of that hall from a visit a
year earlier, here: http://www.xs4all.nl/~klaasbil/muniweekend04.htm .
Maybe they’ll do it again for the 2006 edition, so why don’t you join
for the whole weekend then?
