Riding Backwards

Hey everyone!

I have been unicycling now for about two years and am now getting the hang of riding backwards, which took me awhile considering the fact that it is a little scary when you feel you are going too fast...

Anyway, does anyone have any pointers on this? I find i can do it fairly well if i know i have alot of open space behind me, but i have trouble when i try to turn and look to make sure...

Is there any special way to look behind you as you ride backwards? (with the exception of holding a mirror, which has crossed my mind) ...

             Thanks!

my advice would be to practice turning. By the time you get to the point
where you can turn the way you want, you’ll have developed the ability to
look around as well. Plus, if your course is not straight, it’s a lot
easier to see where you’re planning to go!
