so ive been riding by myself for a while now and wish i knew someone in my area who rode. so if anyone is in the salem, turner, ausmville (oregon) area itd be cool to know.

ive only been riding like 3 weeks but im gettin pretty good i guess. i can ride continuously, do small drops, and im learning to idle. but it would be cool to have someone to ride with and help with stuff.
my grandparents live in salem and I visit during school breaks sometimes, I live in Portland though…
I rode my Schwinn giraffe in Turner once. It was for the Turner Festival back in 1980. My brother was showing his sheep there and I entertained myself by riding my unicycle in the parade. I won a trophy for my effort.
I went to middle school and high school in Jefferson and then college in Corvallis. I’m in Seattle now so I don’t know why I’m babbling on about Salem/Jefferson/Turner/Albany/Corvallis.
how far away from la grande are you?
a long ways. ur all the way in eastern oregon. i’m 10 minutes south of salem.
Like John Childs, I used to live in the area (I met my wife when we were both working summer jobs at The Enchanted Forest, an amusement park near Turner). I think that Jagur on the fora here lives in Salem, but I’m not sure.

wow this thread is OOOLLLLDDD! i hear there’s come good muni trails near corvallis. i gotta head down that way sometime. are there any good trials spots down there?

yep, but due to the title and seeing it for the 1st time i had to rezerect it.
It has a college campus, so I’d assume. I haven’t seen a campus yet not filled with trials obstacles.
