Had an awesome ride in the annual “Ride for the Pass” event yesterday. Temps were unseasonably warm, rode with short sleeves to 11,000’, and nearly 525 people entered it. I don’t have results yet, although I know that I was 7th out of 275 to the top of the first climb. That was about 2 miles and 800’ climb into the 10 mile race. I finished within 2 minutes of my personal best, not bad for an old guy, and out of 525, probably around 225th. That includes both a competitive and a recreation division, and a whole bunch of young people. Here is a picture that was taken on course, sweet shot huh. Cheers.
