Since 2000, the number of rich White children has expanded so much, it’s becoming a problem. You cannot walk anywhere without stepping on a White non-Hispanic child. For the first time since the 1960s, White children now outnumber either Black or Hispanic youngsters in that age group in Manhattan.
Manhattan’s 35,000 White non-Hispanic toddlers are being raised by parents whose median income was $284,208.00/year. (Undoubtedly a few hundred billionaires and many millionaires in that group…)
The median income of other Manhattan households with toddlers was:
Asians: $66,213.00
Blacks: $31,171.00
Hispanics: $25,467.00 (Prolly very few billionaires or millionaires in that group…)

Sounds like those other groups need to step up to the plate and start making some real money. There is no way you can survive on that income in Manhatten.
No, no, Bugman (Chad?), that’s not how it works. It’s not the minorities’ fault that they aren’t making enough. It’s the white man’s fault. They are being held down by the white majority, and forced to work for low wages. The solution isn’t to try to help the minorities, it’s to hold back the white majority. If you hurt the majority, it just makes sense that the minority catches up.

This is really about the overpopulation explosion rich Whites. They already use more than their fair share of resources. I’m not talking about you guys.
For someone regardless of creed is a motivated individual and goes to college or learns a profitable trade and takes the risk that many are afraid to do, and builds a successful business, should they too only make 30-50k a year (actually some only do or make even less) but some do very well and someone whom earns 284k a year in todays economy is not going to be a Billionair or even a millionaire to quik unless the live like they made 30-40k and that is usually not what people work hard to do.
Although I have to agree on one thing: The Socioeconomic gap is definetely on the rise.
The middle class seems to be either stepping up or becoming the working poor, I dont know if it is because of all the lazy unmotivated people that think they deserve everything including a job and therefore employers such as I dont want to pay them jack because I cant get Jack to work which means I am not as profitable and Jack will become the working poor or become unemployed ( Because lazy unproductive people do not get raises!) while the few whom are motivated work harder, get paid more and get out of the working poor class and ultimately get ahead.
I have a point… Regardless of your minority, what if you trained / went to college or ? to better yourself for a certain career and applied for a job that you were denied because of a tilt to a different minority other than your own regardless of your or their qualifications.
You can be more qualified for a job than someone being favored by a certain minority rule and still not get the job. so what does that tell you?
daytripper, I am agreeing with you. Monkeyman seemed to say that white people have absolutely nothing to do with the fact that minorities, on average, are poorer.
Currently in the US, a single person earning less than $1,000,000 per year is considered poverty level. There’s just no way to make ends meet on anything less.
