If you’d like to start a PERSONAL campaign of terror on this forum, believe me, I’ll give you a reign that you’ll regret. Since I can spell, I’ve got a definite advantage.

You’ve made a very painful and personal part of my life your “funny” signature, and you’ve just made yourself an enemy for life unless you remove it immediately.

You’re married, yeah? Do I need to draw any parallels for you?

You chose to share, in a light-harted fasion, a fragment of your personal history ( HERE ), in responce to this statement by Mr. Nuts:not everyone is going to like each other take Rick (sendhair)for example I hate that bald american moving to Japan to get sexy asian women bastard :-P.

I had no reason to expect quoting information revealed in this context would illiset this sort of reaction. I’m sorry to have been incidentaly party to any pain you may feel; however, I’m not liable for the emotional mines you lay in public- nor apologetic for celebrating the whit and moxie of my piers.

You are mistaken to take a threatening tack- a position I hope you will hold as well, once some of your hostility has dissipated. If anything, it lessons my sympathy… but doesn’t negate it. As always, I look forward to your ascerbic humor- however gaurded.

You’re as blatantly predictable as you are patronizing and rude.

You are the one who is openly hostile; by using that quote with your addendum. The effect you intended is also obvious, and, perhaps even entertaining to some of the more slow-witted in your audience. You have previously demonstrated that your jibes are anything but playful, and perhaps for that very reason, that your sense of “humor” is mono-directional; outward from yourself.
I did not post that sentence in the forum for you to abuse. I posted it in response to Checkernuts’ playful ignorance. You took it out of context, both topically and temporally, and you finished by calling me a “pervert”.

You are wrong to suppose that just anything can be picked off the Net and just turned anyway you like.
The Internet is subject to libel laws, and you have involved not only yourself, but also the owner of this website with your defamatory remark. In other words; there have been successful lawsuits in cases like this.

I realize this is a game to you. Maybe one day you will grow up. My comment about your marital status was not a threat. It was a failed attempt to point out to you the sensitivity of personal information … information which has nothing to do with you … an attempt to inspire you to reflect on how you would feel if someone publicly ridiculed your family or personal relationships…

Since someone chose to remind me of “jus-10” and his fate, I will remind all that among that person’s crimes was a vulgar, defamatory remark about Klaas Bil’s family. Yes, Klaas publicized his family information in a very public way, on his website. Does that constitute fair game as “emotional mines laid in public” in your book? Most people on this forum were less than complacent about “jus-10”'s remarks, and I would hope that it went further than just the language he used.

Is “pervert” a term you are accustomed to using when addressing strangers? Is that a habit of yours, and do you find wide acceptance of that term in your dealings with people in Mississippi? I’m guessing not.

You did not ask permission to quote me: an established common courtesy on this forum (until now), and you certainly do not know me well enough to make jokes about my personal life.

To those who say I am over-reacting, I will presume that you welcome being addressed as “pervert” on a public forum, and recommend that you let Christopher know as soon as possible.

Do not attempt to educate me with my own quotes. Do not confuse anger with hate. I do not waste energy on hate. I leave it to you to spend your energy on unsolicited, inflammatory games.

i agree with scott. Personally i don’t see the big deal in using quotes from other people, then agan no one has any of my quotes and i don’t have anyone’s.

Also it’s sort of pointless getting mad at someone and posting it publically if you won’t accept there apoligy. What are you trying to accomplish? You’re asking for satasfaction, but it would seem that all that would be good enough is if rhysling got banished. What he did dosn’t deserve banishment. Also, what did we all do? this is between you and him, so we now have to deal with it every day?

I hope my comment before wasnt as a personal insult, it was not intended to. I was just Jellious and trying to be comedic with an over the top statement that had no factual evedence behind it at all. If it did I appoligise.

defamation tort law: insultee must prove publication of the defamatory statement, identification of the plaintiff, falsity, defamatory content, injury and fault.

there is a differance between a persons stated opionion of another person, a funny-or not so funny ‘insult’ humor, and malicious defamation of a persons character/reputation.

after reading your responses my personal opinion of you is that you are a right nutter with little sense of camaraderie or humor and ultra sensitive to what complete strangers think of you.

  if this makes you want to call a lawyer or if even upsets you at all i would like to remind you that my opinion of you should mean about zip & that you need to get out & uni more & worry about complete strangers a lot less, eh?

Come on! you could have just asked Chris nicely to take the quote out of his signature, and im sure he would have done it. I can understand that that was a bad time for you, and that you would want the message removed, im sorry you had to go through that. I do not pitty your current situation though.

Although I have never met him personally I get the impression that Christopher is a decent guy, I enjoy his humorus posts on the fourm and he is always nice, although quite often sarcastic, to others. I dont think there was a need to attempt to bully him into removing it.

You on the other hand sound like someone who is a moron uncapable of understanding sarcasm. The best word I can use to describe you, as of right now, is “TOOL!”

Good luck changing your apparently boring, dull, and utterly lame outlook on life.
