Reverse steering bicycle

This weekend I thought it would be something interesting to try so I convinced my dad to give me a hand making one. It works quite well and after about 45min of practice I can ride fairly steady.


When I met juggler Steve Mills last spring, he had one of those bikes. I learned it fairly quick, took me about 10 trys and I was riding it around. His set-up was quite a contraption! He had another head tube welded about a foot in front of the original head tube. Then he had a fan belt in a figure 8 to work the steering.

i saw one of these at a carnival years ago. if you were able to ride from one cone to another, you won some…thing. i couldnt doit.
