Research sources

So, this is kind of interesting request. I’ve been assigned to write a research paper. Some of you may remember that I posted on here for some ideas about a week or two ago. I kind have a dilema here. I’m supposed to have a total of 6 sources: 3 books and 3 ‘other’ (like internet). I have all the internet sources I need, but I don’t have the books, and the library doesn’t have them in.

I only need 2 - 4 quotes from each book… and I’ll take the rest from the internet - which, in this case, is probably a better source anyway.

So I was wondering if anyone could type a couple quotes from a unicycle book they have (tell me the title as well) and then I could put them in the paper… Anything will probably do, I just want to get this thing done… ugh

Thanks everybody for being so helpful!

“The genitals can also be injured when unicycling. Whereas females suffer less from such injuries, males risk crushing their testicles when over-zealously mounting the unicycle, or they can be bruised when sitting on the saddle. Not a matter of life and death - you can usually stand up again immediately - but it is unpleasant and painfule, if not a little inelegant.” - Unicycling from beginner to expert by Sebastian Hoeher (translated from the German by Wayne Middlemist), 1994, pg 31

“While it may be true that anyone can learn to ride a unicycle, it is this author’s opinion that not everybody should try. And while learning to ride a unicycle may not be much more difficult than learning to ride a bicycle, it does require a certain level of agility that some many not possess or may no longer possess due to physical, medical or other reasons. In my opinion, those individuals who are prone to accidents or excessively overweight or suffer from heart disease or another medically debilitating disease should re-consider learning to ride the unicycle or at least consult with their physician or primary care provider. I will add to my list those of you who are lawsuit happy. If you’re prowling about seeking whom you may devour in your next lawsuit, do the Unicycling community a favor and take up the sport of tidily winks instead.” A Crash Course: Ride the Unicycle - Become a One Wheel Wonder by Gregg Vivolo, 2003, pgs 6-7
