Reporting in :-)

Hey, folks. I’ve not been posting much recently - although I do read the forum most days.

Busy couple of months, partly with it being the busiest part of the Morris season, and partly with the excitement of a new relationship.

Have managed to get out on the 29 a couple of times, and had a good couple of hours in the forest with Gadge on the 24 today. Also just sorted out all the bits for a slackline and had my first go on it today.

Big success of the summer is that my new partner’s two boys (17 and 13) have taken to unicycling as if they were born to it. The older one is freemounting the KH24, and both of them are riding substantial distances on uneven ground, after only 2 - 3 weeks. The 17 year old is riding both the 29 and the 24.

Judith herself has had a couple of goes on the 20, and I will be very surprised if she doesn’t at least learn to ride it a few metres.

I’m not ignoring you, and I’ve not gone away.

good luck with your new relationship. and i want to see three new members to this site soon!

From the little British that I’ve learned to speak… a red flag doth appear. Does the phrase “have a go” have several connotations? Some that are a bit more racy than others?

The slackline is the most fun I’ve had with no shoes on. Glad you’re getting into the experience!

“Have a go” means at least three different things over here…

“Having a go at someone” basically means moaning at / berating them.
“Having a go at something” means to attempt something new
“Have a go on someone” means, er… Well, I think you’ve heard this definition before

Hello Mike - sounds like things are going well for you again. Well done on creating two new riders (and potentially a third)! World dominance will be ours

Rob

Welcome back

I would have filled in for you but I an’t got yor writin skills. Be sure to show this site to your new riding partners. More contributors are needed here, at least if they are some of the rare teenagers that can make complete sentences.

Thanx for checking in Mike.
Good to hear you are well and happy.

Judith deserves nothing less.

Welcome back Mike.
