RED unicycles

I’ve been working on several unicycle projects and today I picked up a bunch of stuff that has been out for powdercoating. Some of it is custom stuff for someone else and some of it is for me.

I’ve attached a picture showing my two 29er’s, a custom three wheeler and a custom, little bitty 12er … all a lovely RED!

The 29er on the left has the latest version of the CNC aluminum frame that I’ve been tinkering with. The other 29er is my original prototype but with the frame, rim and hub powdercoated.

Both 29er’s have splined hubs but the one on the right has 170mm Profile cranks and a knobby tire. The one on the left has 140mm cranks and a Big Apple tire. I’ll use the long cranked one more for MUni and the short cranked one more for the road.

There’s more pictures - old and new - located in the first two nested albums located here if you are interested:

Hold onto those for a bit. I want to ride them all, especially the 12" one. You may ride John Childs’ and Steve DeKoekkoek’s unicycles ALL YOU WANT in exchange.

Red? The really “hot” colors are at higher frequencies.

Red is the colour

my 20" muni has a KH velo seat with a red stripe and i’m saving up for new red pedlas too anyone else have a red uni? :sunglasses:

I was very lucky to get a red Pashley Muni. It’s not a standard colour,
I think Roger happened to get one in the same day I decided to buy a
Muni. Of course a good salesman knows his customers, and Roger sold me
red pedals and a red seat to go with it.

And Steve’s red unicycles are very nice. Nice setting too. Bit like my
Muni in a bluebell wood:

I have 3 unis, 20" 26" and 36"

All but the coker are Red.

Perhaps I should buy some spray paint and sort out the coker…
