I’m sure a lot of you have heard the story about the man who started trading a red paper clip for bigger and better things, aspiring to eventually barter for a house…
He’s finally done it

My friend’s mom told me about it on Saturday.
Ill trade someone a pink paperclip for something.
I wanna get a Coker outta this at the end:D
that is so cool
my friends and I like to play that game and we start out with a quarter.
here’s what we got:
quarter ->new tennis ball -> bag of chips -> half loaf of bread -> American flag and hat
then it was getting to late so we stopped while we were ahead.
Were did you do that, just around town door to door or what?
we did it in his neighborhood, door to door. At first it seems really weird asking strangers to play this game but once you explain that it’s a scavenger hunt they will do practically anything.
what if its all just a publicity stunt, and he bought all that stuff and gave it to people he knew just so they coiuld trade it back to him.
just kidding. thats pretty sweet.
Then he came out ahead, famous and the owner of a house.
What’s not amazing is that he did it, but it how few trades he did it.
I wonder when the “real” red paperclip will go on ebay? I’d pay a dollar for it.
that is the truth!
when i first heard about this, i was thinking he was going to be trading for a couple years. but he did it in like, what 12 trades or something like that?
crazy.
