Hey folks, I’m sure everyone has noticed the recent SPAM in the group
lately, the stuff with what looks like garbage…it’s actually Chinese
characters, but you can’t display it unless you have the Chinese
character set installed.
If everyone would just get a Spamcop account (www.spamcop.com) and
start reporting that would be VERY nice! Thanks!

Ah…never mind…Spamcop only works with e-mail it seems, not
newsgroups. We’ll have to do it the old fashioned way.

A filter has been added that should catch most of those before beig sent to the mailing list and before being inserted into the forums… the people on the newsgroup will still get them though.
