The proposall seems fine to me, but since I have liitle experience with the
Internet except for email, I cannot make any constructive suggestions. The only
thing that worries me is how will someone who only has access to email be able
to send and receive postings. Also, does one need a real Internet connection for
this, or is email through a gateway sufficient? Not everyone on the mailing list
may be properly connected or have the proper software, so we need to think of
those people.

Beirne Konarski told me, he definitely will continue the mailing list. He is
also looking into a two way email - rec.unicycling gateway which would allow
anyone to read and post to rec.unicycling via the mailing list. (Such gateways
have existed for a long time for various newsgroups, so it shouldn’t be too much
trouble to set it up.)
