Really really stupid questions

Thanks very much for the reply. You’re a star !
As long as the appropriate pedals are attached to the proper pedals I’m good to go. Grand !

I once put a left pedal on what I thought was my left crank, on my nooooo unicycle. BUT in my hurry I’d put the seat on the post back to front so my left side was infact my right side. I peddled off into the sunset and the pedal fell off. Luckily I was wearing my KH guards so they saved my knees.

Cheers

Awhile back someone posted a YOUtube video of a motorcycle type dude riding a BIG chrome motorunicycle. Can you help me find it?

For simple commuting, I use shoes/sneakers with NO laces.

Does anyone know of a COOL looking pair with NO laces, like velcro. The other day I rode to the barber. He looked at my velcro shoes and said he had ordered a pair for his mother. Is there anyway to avoid this??! And be safe from laces tangling and tying me to the uni as I crash?

The uni shoe threads here seem geared for mUni, this is simple smooth road riding.

Just shorten the laces, so short that you can just tie them, they will not catch the pedal that way.
Also, should anyone ever feel their lace getting caught, keep pedaling, it has always broken before throwing me of the uni when I got into that situation.

Mine have elastic laces with a toggle so there is no long end. Also, every time I go on Facebook someone is advertising ‘no lace laces’ which look like they would be ideal.

I liked my Spitfire “dirt” shoes from Five Ten, they looked like casual sneakers and the grip wasn’t insane like the pure MTB models. I’ll go back to them once the ones I got for xmas are dead.
They have several “dirt” models which are pretty cool, and they’re very confortable to walk too!

But they have laces - though those can be shortened as said above, or tucked under the loops:
