Re: Thunder Dragon

Hi,

The airdate for Into the Thunder Dragon was pushed back. I’ll keep you posted for when it airs.

The DVD and VHS versions will come out in the early fall.

By the way, we had a really good premiere at UNICON!

Cheers,

Kris

Do You Yahoo!?
Yahoo! Health - Feel better, live better

That is good…very good to hear, my heart has been set to ease, when we (me and Jonny D) couldn’t find it, we thought that it wouldn’t be on at all, but oln, bless their hearts, just pushed it back!! Well that should make me mad, but for some reason I am just insanely happy!! Have a good night.

ps. I love the fact that you use the word stoked, I LOVE that word, it is like pure Canadian!!!

Really? i always thought stoked was like hippie or something. oh well awesome word anywho.

ps I almost died when i couldn’t find Into the TD on OLN but now i can rest easy.

“stoked”

FYI:

(from Merriam-Webster’s Online Collegiate Dictionary)
stoke
Pronunciation: 'stOk
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): stoked; stok·ing
Etymology: Dutch stoken; akin to Middle Dutch stuken to push
Date: 1683
transitive senses
1 : to poke or stir up (as a fire) : supply with fuel
2 : to feed abundantly
intransitive senses : to stir up or tend a fire (as in a furnace) : supply a furnace with fuel

stoked
Pronunciation: 'stOkt
Function: adjective
Date: 1965
slang : being in an enthusiastic or exhilarated state

… date-wise, “stoked” fits the Hip-Pee etymology theory…

Did they have Hip-Peez in Canada?

see? i was right! Stoked is hippie!( but still cool enough to use)

Will the DVD be region encoded? And will it be available in the UK? I doubt it will be on any of the TV stations in the UK and I’d really like to see it.

Does anyone know any answers to these questions? (And don’t just say yes, details please  )
