I’m bringing my hockey sticks and puck. Maybe Sunday afternoon when the gym
clears out a little.

Re: Re: Philadelphia Juggling Festival - Uni hockey
Dave,
Sadly, I will not be at the festival on Sunday, but hopefully others will be. I would encourage you to contact David Smith who is organizing the event to find out if there will be any problems with playing unicycle hockey in the gym. His email is: davidsmithjuggler@comcast.net. I’ve contacted him about other matters and he is usually quick to respond.
Now, although, I wont be there on Sunday, I’d love to meet you Saturday, as I remember your “Member News” piece in the March 2000 OOW (page 16) about the trick involving passing clubs between a backwards tandem rider and unicyclist (you!). I’ll be there all day Saturday and you’ll be able to recognize me from my 20" Schwinn with a black Primo “Wall” tire.
Re: Re: Philadelphia Juggling Festival - Uni hockey
Your memory is pretty good. Here’s a link to the tandem picture:
We tried some variations of this trick, such as adding another unicycle and
letting the guy on the tandem feed them.
I’ll see you on Saturday. We’ll be the two guys bounce-passing (sometimes
just outside the gym on the steps). I’ve got a 20" Miyata with a blue and
white seat. I’ll be with the guy on the back of the tandem. He’ll have a 20"
Semcycle. I’ll have to leave the tandem at home, however. It won’t fit in
the car.
