RE:Monty Tire Wear

Yoopers, brought this up today.it does seem that my Monty tire is wearing quikly, very quikly.

its interesting that the older ones lasted longer in yoopers case.the durometer on a trials tire must be low for grippyness, but maybe the new ones are even lower.

i have to rotate mine evey week to keep it round.if you think a Gazz tire is tight on a rim you ought to try getting a Monty tire off an Alex rim…

Re: RE:Monty Tire Wear

How many times do I have to tell ya? Let the air out FIRST.

oh gee,is that why it was so hard to get the tire levers in there?

Re: RE:Monty Tire Wear

you guys put “AIR” in your tires? pbpbpb, water gives you so much more bounce.

Air who needs it. Do like race cars Nitrogen gas all the way!

I’ll have to try the water thing untill I get some flubber to put in my tires

You should inflate your tire with the air at gas stations, let’s see if someone knows why…

because they usually have a guage to tell you how much PSI you’re putting in?

I’ve never seen a gas station air supply with a gauge. Anyways, the one I was using yesterday at a 7-11 filled up my mountain bike tube in 1-2 seconds. Obviously, I was risking completely destroying my tube.
