I simply cut the broom portion of two old brooms and put crutch tips on
the “cut” ends. The brooms even had a hole in the top to put straps
through. Unlike the ski poles, it is hard to jab someone by accident.
They work very well in the manner that John used his modified ski poles.

BC wheeling is great fun with these cheap poles!
